These are also called cartridge faucets. These faucets do not require washer to control water delivery. The washer is replaced by a stem cartridge. They can have one or two handles. Single-handle models move up and down or from side to side to regulate the force of water. These faucets are marketed as anti-leakage faucets in the market. Although less prone to leaks, the seals that can wear out.
